Quinn Outlines Plans for Illinois Immigrants

Gov. Pat Quinn announced the New American report earlier today. The report outlines his plans to improve conditions for the more than 2 million immigrants in the state.

Quinn said Illinois has made several efforts to improve the lives of immigrants in the state, such as signing the Illinois Dream Act in 2010. And earlier this year, a bill was passed which allows illegal immigrants to obtain driver's licenses.

Quinn said it's important for the state to welcome all immigrants.
