SEIU to Strike for Three Days
URBANA-- Nearly 800 University of Illinois service workers will go on strike Monday at midnight.
Sunday, the Service Employees International Union Local 73 held a vote to on whether or not to accept the University's latest contract offer.
The union's president, Christine Boardman, says it was a near unanimous vote to reject the offer, and go on strike.
The union says the two sides are still far apart on a number of key issues.
