ABC 20 EXTREME MAKEOVER
The Montgomery family from Philo had their life turned upside down Tuesday by Ty Pennington and his makeover crew.
The Montgomery's said goodbye to family and friends and will return in one week to a brand new home.
It was an emotional day to say the least filled with surprises, smiles and even a few tears.
" Shocked, there's a disconnect between seeing Ty on television and seeing him in your yard. I mean it's hard to draw that connection and make it real in your head even after he's there," said Nathan Montgomery.
It's been a whirlwind day for Nathan Montgomery, his wife Jenny and their 4 children.
Their 100 year old house in which they've lived in for more than 10 years will be torn down and as you know by watching the show, a spectacular new home will be built.
The family spent the day in Hollywood fashion, filming segments for the show and of course packing for a week's trip to DisneyWorld while the new house is being built.
