Making the Grade
He's just a first grader, but his teacher says he's already a standout student and class leader. That's why we're happy to call Ian Handley this week's Making the Grade Award winner.
After recess, of course, Ian says his favorite subject is math, but he really excels in art class. In fact one of his drawings was recently published in a magazine.
"how does it make you feel to get the award?" - Reporter
"um, pretty cool." - Ian
"He's a very self motivated student, he gets along with every student in here, he always wants to help, always eager to learn and try to better himself. He's just an all around great kid and great person, and every student here loves him." - Ms. Wirth, Ian's teacher
Congratulations Ian!
