Making the Grade
CHAMPAIGN - Most students have little to worry about other than classes and extracurriculars, but one Champaign Centennial high-schooler has overcome a lot, on his way to becoming our Making the Grade Award winner.
Todd Robinson has always stood out in the classroom, but earlier this fall he faced his greatest test, when his older brother passed away. But Todd still managed to keep his grades up even taking on a new challenge, a nano-technology internship through the University of Illinois.
"I knew that if i didn't focus on my studies, then I'd fail, and i didn't want that to happen, I try to, not so much put it behind me, but come to close with it and go back to what I wanted to do."
