Making the Grade
THOMASBORO - Have you ever had one of those eureka moments, when everything just starts to come together? This school year is just that, for this week's Making the Grade Award winner, Samantha Nigh of Thomasboro.
As an eighth grader, Samantha has put together her best year yet. Finding herself on the honor roll each quarter, all while balancing basketball, volleyball, band and chorus. Now, she's added another line to her resume', Samanatha was just elected her school's student council president!
"I like being a leader, and it makes me feel like a good student when I help other people." says Nigh.
Congratulations Samantha!
