IN THE KITCHEN
1 lb of country sausage
1 T Butter
2 T Flour
Milk
Salt and White Pepper to taste
Use any biscuit mix, packaged or home-made if you'd like.
Brown sausage in skillet. Remove sausage. Add flour to dripping and
stir to make a roux and turns slightly brown. Add a one cup of milk to
begin stirring constantly mixing the roux and milk. Add milk a cup at a
time to desired consistency of gravy. Return sausage to pan with gravy.
Add salt and white pepper to taste. Split biscuits open and ladle on
gravy.
