IN THE KITCHEN
Ingredients:
1 c. corn syrup
1 c. white sugar
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
8 c. crip rice cereal
In stockpot over medium-high heat, mix together corn syrup and sugar. Keep stirring constantly, do not burn.
Once the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter, then stir in cereal, a few cups at a time. Once mixture is complete, spread into a 9x13 pan.
In microwaveable bowl, mix together 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup butterscotch chips. Microwave on medium, be sure not to melt too quickly or burn the mixture. Every couple of minutes, stir the mixture and then continue microwaving on medium.
Spread chocolate mixture over rice krispies. Let the squares harden, then cut and enjoy!
