CHARLESTON-- In the past month and a half, Charleston has seen many crimes.
Those include several armed robberies, home invasions, and stabbings.
In the last four days, four people have been sent to the hospital, all with stab wounds.
Residents we spoke with said, they're freaked out.
With an exception to Thursday's stabbing in Mattoon, the rest of the crimes happened in Charleston.
Some even, on the campus of Eastern Illinois University.
Charleston Police Lieutenant Brad Oyer, said they're doing everything they can to catch these criminals, and keep the town of Charleston safe.
