Rambutans or lychees
Pomegranate or Pomegranate Arils
Kiwano melons have a soft shell that is easy to cut through. Simply carve the melons to create facts or designs, and then slice off the melon bottoms so they stand up straight. The slippery, seedy green flesh inside will slide out of the melon and makes a great base for your display!
Great decorative items include rambutans which resemble eyeballs and have skin that can easily be shaped into eyebrows, mustaches and more. You can also use pomegranate arils for eyeballs by pushing them into the rambutans.

8 rambutans or lychee or green grapes
4 passion fruit
Pomegranate or pomegranate arils
Gently slice the rambutans skin to reveal flesh or green grapes. Cut a tiny slit in the center of the rambutan or green grapes, and push a single pomegranate aril into the center to create the eye. Cut the passion fruits in half across the equator and push the sliced rambutans or green grapes into the passion fruit halves.

Dragon Egg Stew
10 cactus pears
2 cups apple cider
2 cups sparkling water
6 or more rambutans or green grapes
12 or more grapes
Wearing gloves, slice the skins off the cactus pears and discard. Puree the cactus pears and 1 cup of the apple cider in a food processor or blender. Press the puree through a fine strainer into a bowl to catch the juice. You should get approximately 3 cups of liquid. Discard the dry seeds and pulp. In a punch bowl, combine the cactus pear mixture with the sparkling water and the remaining apple cider. Slice the skin off the rambutans and add them along with the grapes into the punch bowl.

Michigan Granny Smith or Jonamac Apples
Halloween Cookie Cutters
Lollipop Sticks or Skewers
Dippings: Meijer Naturals Creamy Peanut Butter, Melted Caramel
Toppings: Pumpkin Seeds, Low Fat Granola, Shredded Coconut, Nut Chips, Creepy Sprinkles
1. Cut apple in half lengthwise. Cut each half with Halloween cookie cutters.
2. Insert lollipop sticks or skewers into bottom of apple slices.
3. Dip apple in peanut butter or melted caramel.
4. Coat dipped apple with your favorite toppings.
