In the Kitchen: Bubble Pizza
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
1 package pepperoni
1 jar of sliced mushrooms
1 can of pizza sauce
2 (12oz) tubes of buttermilk biscuits
1 1/2 c shredded mozzarella
1 c shredded cheddar
- In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in pizza sauce, pepperoni and mushrooms. Cut each biscuit into quarters; place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Top with the beef mixture.
- Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with cheeses. Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. Yield: 6-8 servings.
