WASHINGTON (AP) -- The White House is declining to comment on a published report that Russia is believed to be behind a suspected attack on computer systems at the Executive Mansion. The Washington Post carried the report -- but the White House has not released any details on who may have been responsible. The White House says there was suspicious activity on its unclassified computer network and it has since taken steps to address the problem. The official who disclosed the attempts to disrupt the White House computer system says the situation was dealt with immediately and White House officials are aware of the concerns.
IN THE NEWS: RAP MUSIC LYRICS-FELONY
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Prosecutors in Kentucky have dismissed a felony charge against a man who spent a more than a week in jail for posting violent song lyrics online. James E. Evans posted a series of songs on his Facebook account. Authorities say the lyrics include references to "student bodies lying dead in the hall." Police charged Evans with terroristic threatening. He spent eight days in jail, because he said he couldn't afford the $1,000 cash bond. The ACLU is on Evans' side in this one, saying his postings counted as speech protected by the First Amendment.
