IN THE NEWS: FBI, APPLE, INVESTIGATING LEAKED CELEBRITY NUDE PHOTOS

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Both the FBI and Apple are trying to find out how nude photos of several female celebrities ended up on the Internet. Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence says she has asked law enforcement for help in tracking down the culprits -- and in a statement, the FBI says it will look into the allegations. The FBI declines to say what steps it is taking to find out who posted naked images of Lawrence and other stars. Meanwhile, Apple says it is looking into reports that its online photo-sharing service may have been hacked to obtain the intimate images. There had been talk that a flaw in iCloud services could have allowed celebrity accounts to be hacked, leading to the distribution of private images. One security researcher warns everyone -- not just celebrities -- that if you have a cloud account for photos, images aren't just on your portable devices anymore. Once images end up in the cloud, there's no certainty that an unauthorized party can't get to them.

Another actress has confirmed that some of her nude images were shared online. Details from AP Entertainment Editor Oscar Wells Gabriel.

IN THE NEWS: FERGUSON, MISSOURI POLICE GET BODY CAMERAS

FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) -- Police in the St. Louis suburb where a white officer shot an unarmed 18-year-old to death have started wearing body cameras. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports Ferguson police began wearing the body cameras this past weekend -- during a protest march Saturday to mark the death of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson. The department says it got about 50 body cameras about a week ago. The device attaches to the officer's uniform -- and is able to record both video and audio.
